The Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has released details surrounding the passing of Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola, whose sudden death has sent waves of grief across the Nigerian film industry.
Reports indicate that the actress died after a brief illness, a development that has left her colleagues, friends, and fans deeply saddened. According to information provided by the Guild of Directors under TAMPAN, Allwell Ademola had complained of difficulty breathing shortly before her condition worsened.
She was immediately rushed to Ancilla Catholic Hospital in Agege, Lagos, where she was admitted and placed on oxygen for medical support. Despite efforts by medical personnel, doctors later confirmed that she passed away on December 27, 2025.
In a statement issued by the association, TAMPAN described the late actress as a dedicated, loyal, and hardworking professional who remained actively involved in the activities of the Guild of Directors and the association as a whole. Her commitment to her craft and consistent participation in industry affairs earned her admiration and respect among fellow actors, directors, and crew members.
The association also extended its condolences to her aged mother, family members, friends, and professional colleagues, acknowledging the painful loss and praying for strength and comfort for those she left behind.
