Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly declared her determination to fight for the custody of her two sons amid an ongoing marital crisis with her estranged husband, businessman and politician Ned Nwoko.
The actress made the revelation through an emotional post on her Instagram page, where she alleged that Nwoko has initiated legal proceedings seeking full custody of their children, even though the boys are currently under his care. Regina expressed deep distress over being separated from her children, describing the experience as emotionally painful for any mother.
According to her, the frequent appearance of her children on social media is not accidental but a calculated move by her estranged husband to attract public attention. She questioned the judgment behind exposing the children to intense media scrutiny, especially given Nwoko’s status as a public figure with political experience.
Regina further accused her husband of taking drastic measures to weaken her position as a mother. She alleged that all her nannies were abruptly dismissed and later coerced into making false claims against her, including accusations of domestic violence and alcohol abuse. She insisted these allegations were fabricated and designed to undermine her credibility in the custody dispute.
In her words, while many people assume she is unbothered, no mother can truly be at peace when separated from her children.
